Insurance Coverage
Due to the product Next Step is dealing with it has become clear quickly that any employees working for Next Step must be reliable, responsible, careful and above all trustworthy. With my background in recruitment I understand the risk in hiring unknown people for any position. But in a situation where a client is putting sometimes very valuable items in my hands my responsibility to provide the right people is of paramount importance to protect the reputation of Next Step.
All employees are scrupulously screened, referenced checked and must provide a current criminal background check. Most times the only Next Step representative will be myself, however when the need for heavy lifting arises or estate sales take place, there will be other Next Step employees brought in.
All clients will be provided with proof of a clear background check for anyone entering the home. Only one key will be distributed to me and returned at the end of the project.
Next Step has obtained insurance for complete coverage with regards to health and safety, theft and breakage. Your contract will include a current insurance certificate.
If an estate sale is required, there will be only one person responsible for sales and price negotiation of all items. This same person will turn over all monies of the sale to the family member responsible for finance.
