Next Step has a Process for Clearing
- Clean out obvious garbage and dispose: Next Step will begin by clearing out all obvious garbage in the home and dispose of the garbage in the appropriate environmental manner.
- Hire a garbage receptacle for the driveway if necessary: Some homes require the services of a delivered and picked up garbage receptacle other homes may be adequately cleared with a few trips to the local transfer station/dump. The correct method of disposal will be determined at the time of the initial home assessment.
- Organize all contents by type and displayed so the family can make decisions on the contents that will be sold or distributed among the family/friends.
- Once the family has distributed the initial items, the remaining items will either be priced according to market value to ready for a content/estate sale or packed to be moved.
